Pandora FMS は、3つの主要な要素で構成されています。

• Pandora FMS Console
• Pandora FMS Server
• Database

これらがアプリケーションのコアを構成しており、各 Pandora FMS バージョンにそってアップデートする必要があります。開発者はそれぞれ、新しい機能の追加、アプリケーションの改善、より安定化をさせています。

最初に更新する要素は Pandora FMS コンソールで、オープンソース版と、Enterprise版の両方です。データベースもこれに応じて更新する必要があります。 そして、これら 2つの対応が完了したら、Pandora FMS サーバをコンソールと同じバージョンに更新する必要があります。

ウェブコンソールとデータベースを更新するための主な 推奨 手順は、オンラインアップデートマネージャ の機能を利用することです。

It is necessary for the application of the update by this method that the Pandora FMS server has connectivity with the Online Update manager located at https://pandorafms.com/ .

この方法でアップデートを進めるには、Pandora FMS コンソールのメニューから、オンラインアップデートマネージャ へ行きます。

現在のバージョンと、利用可能な新しいバージョンがあるかどうかを示すメッセージが表示されます。 更新(Update) をクリックします。

利用中の環境にインストールされているもののうち、利用可能なバージョンがアップデートサーバからダウンロードされます。 利用可能な新しい更新をメッセージでお知らせします。 OK をクリックします。

そのバージョンでデータベースの更新がある場合、ウィザードは新しい利用可能なデータベースの更新を通知します。MR を適用(Apply MR) をクリックします。

MR が正しく適用されると、データベースを正しく更新できた旨を通知するメッセージが表示されます。

最後に、コンソールとデータベースが指定のバージョンに正しく更新されたことを示すメッセージが表示されます。

オフラインアップデートマネージャを介した更新プロセスはオンラインと同じですが、この場合は更新サーバへのアクセスが制限されている環境です。 まず最初に、Pandora FMS コンソールメニューから オフラインアップデートマネージャ 画面にアクセスする必要があります。

この場合、インストールした Pandora FMS のバージョンを知っておく必要があります。確認するには、インストールされているバージョンを表示する Pandora FMS コンソールの フッター を見ます。

In case there is database upgrade the wizard will indicate that there is a new database upgrade available. A message will be displayed indicating that the database upgrade was successful.

データベースの更新がある場合、ウィザードは利用可能な新しいデータベースの更新があることを示します。データベースが正しく更新されたことを示すメッセージが表示されます。

Finally, a message that the console has been successfully upgraded to the indicated version will be displayed.

最後に、コンソールが目的のバージョンに正しく更新されたことを示すメッセージが表示されます。

In case there is any problem in this process the installation process Console and database manual must be performed.

プロセス全体に何らかの問題がある場合は、手動操作 コンソールおよびデータベースガイド を実行する必要があります。

処理全体で何らかのエラーが発生し、アップデートマネージャを利用した更新ができなかった場合にのみ、この手順に従ってください。

まず、コンソールパッケージをダウンロードします。 Sourceforge からオープンソース版パッケージをダウンロードし、Pandora FMS 公式サポートサイトのダウンロードセクションから Enterprise 版パッケージをダウンロードします。

Choose the packages corresponding to the Operating System where the Pandora FMS system is installed and follow the process corresponding to the downloaded packages.

Pandora FMS システムをインストールしたオペレーティングシステムに一致するパッケージを選択し、ダウンロードしたパッケージに対応する手順に従います。

 rpm -U <open_console_package_name> .rpm
 rpm -U <enterprise_console_package_name> .rpm

 tar xvzf <open_console_package_name> .tar.gz

 tar xvzf <enterprise_console_package_name> .tar.gz

コンソールの更新処理が完了したら、データベースの更新手順に進みます。

Apply manually the MR files (minor release), one by one, from the current version to that of the updated Web console. You may find the corresponding version in this link :

MR ファイル(マイナーリリース)を、現在のバージョンから更新されたウェブコンソールのバージョンに 1つずつ手動で適用します。 対応するバージョンは、こちら にあります。

 cd /var/www/html/pandora_console/extras/mr/
 cat <mr_number>.sql | mysql -u <db_user> -p -D <pandora_db_name>

Once the MRs are applied, modify the MR and current_package_enterprise fields in the tconfig table, where the versioning for Update Manager proper working is stored.

MR を適用したら、tconfig テーブルの MR フィールドと current_package_enterprise を変更します。ここには、アップデートマネージャが正しく動作するために必要なバージョン情報が保存されています。

適用したら、すべてのファイルを “<APACHE_PATH>/pandora_console/extras/mr/updated/” に移動します。

mv /var/www/html/pandora_console/extras/mr/*.sql /var/www/html/pandora_console/extras/mr/updated/

コンソールとデータベースのアップデートが完了したら、最後のステップはサーバのアップデートです。

Pandora FMS オープンソース版の対応するパッケージを Sourceforge からダウンロードして、更新を行います。

rpm -U <open_server_package_name> .rpm

 tar -xvzf <open_server_package_name> .tar.gz
 cd pandora_server/
 ./pandora_server_installer --install

オープンソース版のアップデートが完了したら、Pandora FMS 公式サポートサイトのダウンロードセクションからダウンロードできる Enterprise 版をインストールします。

Pandora FMS Enterprise版のバージョン 7.0 では、Enterprise パッケージはバイナリでインストールされます。

Now you have to edit your /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf file to change the database password (default is   pandora) with the one set in include/config.php of your Pandora FMS Console.
After setting password you can start your Pandora FMS Server!!
